Absolutely amazing care for our dogs. I could not recommend them enough. We had never kenneled our dogs before and were nervous to try it for the first time. However, they made everything about our experience as smooth as possible. You can tell they really care about the animals that are in their care. I wouldnāt take my dogs anywhere else.
You did a wonderful job with. Mabel for one day. I appreciated your phone calls regarding her feeding schedule. Mabel loves coming to Central Bark and we will have her stay overnight on August 27.

Are the facilities well equipped with toys, bedding, and supplies?
Central BarkĀ® has plenty of KongsĀ®, tennis balls and other toys for everyone. The dogs could ask for nothing more!
How does Central Bark mentally stimulate a dog?
At Central BarkĀ®, our goal is to provide a balanced day of play, learning, rest, and love. Learning and mental exercise can happen in various ways, including training activities, brain games, scent work, and more. Our playgroups offer several hours of active playtime paired with learning opportunities during Group Play Skills. This way, dogs have plenty of time to socialize and get their energy out, while also exercising their minds through learning.
During one of your dogās rest periods throughout the day, they are offered a rest period enrichment activity to stimulate their mind while encouraging healthy rest. These licking and chewing activities involve food rewards, such as frozen peanut butter KONGĀ®. These activities engage their minds while helping foster quality rest.Ā
Did you know? Scientific studies have shown that licking and chewing behaviors (especially those that involve food rewards!) are self-soothing, decrease heart and respiratory rates, and even release dopamine in a dogās brain.
Training Tutor sessions stimulate the dog’s minds and bodies and help them learn important skills, behaviors, and tricks.
One-on-One Enrichment sessions give the extra attention dogs love and the freedom to use their senses and safely explore their instincts through interactive toys, puzzles, and games.
Did you know? 15 minutes of mental activity is equal to 30 minutes of physical exercise!
Do groomers sedate dogs?
No. At Central BarkĀ®, we never sedate dogs in our salon. Our expert groomers always aim to help your dog feel as calm and relaxed as possible during their bathing and grooming experience.
Suppose your dog has shown extreme stress or anxiety toward grooming in the past. In that case, we suggest speaking with a trusted veterinarian and one of our reward-based trainers about how we can best support your dog.

Absolutely! We strongly encourage all prospective clients to see our facilities firsthand. We believe a tour is the best way to understand what to look for in a dog day care.
